We collect the information you provide when creating an account (name, email address), details you add to your wine tasting notes, and information about events you host or attend. We also collect standard technical data such as IP address and device type to keep the service running.
2. How We Use It
Your data is used to provide and improve the app, personalise your experience, show your events to other members when set to community visibility, and send you service-related emails (e.g. booking confirmations). We do not sell your personal data.
3. Tasting Notes & Reviews
Your tasting notes are private to you. Reviews you submit for hosts or guests are visible to other members as part of the trust system.
4. Sharing With Others
We share data only with the service providers needed to operate WineBuds (hosting, email delivery, analytics). All providers are bound by data processing agreements. We do not share data with advertisers.
5. Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support.
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through the app.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
